Conceptual approaches to researching the impact of digital transformation processes on the global business environment

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to conceptually analyze the processes of digital transformation, which will allowus to characterize the spillover effects of digitalization at the macro and meso levels of economic interaction.This involves identifying and categorizing the spillover effects of the digital economy that have an impact onvarious aspects of social development. It is noted that traditional strategic models of competitiveness, the resource-oriented approach or the concept of dynamic advantages are based on assumptions that are losing relevance in modern digital conditions. Key features (reprogrammability, data homogenization, self-referentiality) that distinguish digitaltechnologies from previous technologies have been identified.
