Corruption counteraction in post-war Ukrainein the conditions of its integration to the European Union: criminal legal and criminological aspects

Abstract

In the context of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the issue of combating corruption remains highly relevant, despite the priority of restoring territorial integrity. Despite the existence of a robust anti-corruption framework (comprising specialized anti-corruption bodies) corruption continues to persist in Ukrainian society, often leading to high-profile corruption scandals. The author notes that as of December 23rd, 2024, the National Repository of Academic Texts has made publicly available 206 dissertation studies on corruption-related topics, completed between 2000 and the present, for the attainment of doctoral and PhD degrees.
